Feather are a renowned Japanese brand, famed for their world-class Feather DE Razor Blades and range of high-quality stainless-steel razors. Feather Artist Club Pro Super Blades are stainless steel razor blades, designed to be used with Feather shavette razors.
All razor blades go through an extensive manufacturing process, starting off as long strips of stainless steel that go through several processes in order to create the fine, sharp blades that are easy and enjoyable to shave with. Once crafted, all blades go through strict quality control tests to ensure they are ideal for consumer use.
Feather Artist Club Blades Pro Super are ideal for experienced straight razor enthusiasts to use with their Feather shavettes. Each blade features triple grinding for optimal sharpness and a double coating of platinum alloy and resin. Due to the unparalleled sharpness of the blade, they are recommended for those with particularly thick, coarse hair.
Please note, Feather Artist Club Pro Super Blades are designed to work with Feather Artist Club Shavettes only and it is unlikely they will be compatible with any other shaving products. In order to set the razor up in preparation for shaving, the blades are presented in a plastic contraption that attaches to the end of the shavette and allows the blade to neatly be injected into the blade guard.
Replace blades regularly to allow them to continue performing well, ensuring they are changed before they start to drag across the skin. How long you find a blade to last is dependent on personal preference and how the blades are stored. Some may find the need to change blades less often than others, but typically blades that are replaced after two to three shaves provide a closer shave and have less chance of causing injury, such as skin irritation and razor burn.
The blades are 50mm long, 8.2mm deep, and 0.31mm thick. In a Feather Artist Club DX Shavette Razor the blade exposure is 1.45mm while in a Feather Artist Club SS Shavette Razor it is 1.25mm, offering an exceptionally close shave.
The blades come in packs of 20. Used blades can be safely recycled in a blade disposal tin or a makeshift tin of your preference.
Take care when handling, understandably they are very sharp!
