The Rockwell Model T Adjustable Safety Razor Gunmetal is Rockwell's most premium adjustable razor. Four years in the making, The Rockwell Model T offers unparalleled versatility and convenience for a truly remarkable shaving experience.

The Rockwell Model T's innovative fluidly-adjustable design stops shaving irritation and ingrown hairs for a close, comfortable shave every time. It features a one-of-a-kind, adjustable dial to allow for a close, comfortable shave for any skin type and facial hair length. Simply twist the dial to change the blade gap and exposure and control the comfort and closeness of your shave. Crafted from brass, stainless steel and chromed zinc components, the Rockwell Model T was engineered to adhere to extremely strict tolerance requirements.

The Rockwell Model T allows you to adjust fluidly between shave settings 1 through 6, so you can customize the shave to your skin type and facial hair length by slightly adjusting the angle at which the blade cuts your hair. Lower Rockwell Size settings (between 1-3) are for anyone with sensitive skin and are the perfect place to start a seamless transition from cartridge razor shaving with no nicks, cuts or discomfort. Higher Rockwell Size settings (between 4-6) are for shaving thick, coarse or curly hair.

The Rockwell Model T is crafted from the finest materials to ensure shaving excellence at a fraction of the price of shaving with disposable multi-blade razors over time.

Rockwell's patented adjustable razors allow beginners to start on setting 1 (mildest setting), making it the easiest double-edge safety razor for beginners when transitioning from multi-blade cartridge razors.

Nice DE razor with some quality issues
I bought the gunmetal version and I have to say that this is a solid performer and good looking razor.
However for the price of 150 EUR I am a bit disapointed with the build quality. After one shave I realized tha the coating of the butterfly head has some spots. The coating quality seems nor to be of high quality.

Decided on a safety razor to avoid using plastic refills.
Decided on a safety razor to avoid using plastic refills. Was hesitant about the price, however I am thrilled by the razor. No difference in the closeness of shave, still smooth. However, I don't appear to get in grown hairs anymore. I actually shave twice daily with this razor, previously only shaving once, this is more a preference though. Genuinely would recommend, very pleased.

Top quality razor for all levels of experience
This beast could be the only razor you ever need to buy.

With adjustable levels of aggression it's suitable for beginners and shavemeisters who can simply tune the razor to the setting that works best. No more trying out a series of £20 razors and then realising that it's worth spending a chunk more (a sizeable chunk admittedly) for one that changes with your experience and mood.

The butterfly head is a bonus too (not many modern adjustables have this feature) as it makes blade switching both quick and a lot safer than dismantling and rebuilding a razor in the bathroom...

The adjustment and opening are smooth as silk - should be for the price but it shows this is a quality item.

The razor comes with a handy head cover to protect it when travelling and also a pack of Rockwell blades (although personally I wasn't impressed with these but that's my choice - others may love them).

And if you want to store it proudly in the bathroom then you'll need the matching Rockwell stand which is the most sturdy thing you've ever seen and the handle fits perfectly into the hole.

Seriously? That's the only picture you have of it?

Meh, the Rex Ambassador beat you to it Rockwell! And from the same and the Rex looks way better!

Also, I know the Rex costs more, but it's a fully stainless razor. No brass. No chrome to eventually flake off like Rockwell's offering. Plus, I happily paid extra for the Rex' "work-of-art" travel case made with leather and walnut.

Back to the drawing board Rockwell!

Don't waste your time on anything else - buy this razor!
This is a truly unbelievable razor and the first I have ever owned that has yet to nick me!

The rare combination of the butterfly opening AND adjustable settings makes this a one-stop razor for anyone from beginner to expert.

The mechanism is smooth and shows the quality of construction and the first two settings are amazingly mild.

As someone who bought two or three cheap razors trying tio get used to traditional shaving after multi-blades, I now realise that this would have been a far better investment from the outset.
