Since 1973, Parker have been a worldwide leader in safety razor innovation and design. The Parker 24C DE Safety Razor (Open Comb) is a beautifully crafted three-piece closed comb double edge safety razor.

The Parker family owned and operated business creates razors that are manufactured to the highest standards and enjoyed by customers around the world. All of Parker’s safety razors are lovingly assembled by hand. Parker’s goal is to help customers enjoy the most comfortable shave possible.

This open comb razor is one of the more aggressive Parker models, ideal for those with particularly thick, coarse hair. The construction is a three-piece design, with the head unscrewing to allow the blade to be inserted between the top and base plates.

Due to the more aggressive shave this razor offers, it is more suited to experienced wet shavers. It is favoured for its excellent value for money. For a Parker razor more suited to those new to wet shaving, try the Parker 98R DE Safety Razor.

The razor is crafted from chrome plated brass for durability. The detailed knurled engraved handle design gives the razor an aesthetically pleasing appearance and enhanced wet grip. The longer handle design allows for greater control when shaving harder to reach areas.

The overall length of the razor is approximately 101mm in length and weighs approximately 83g, making it a relatively heavy weight razor.

Any double edge razor blades will fit this razor, allowing the user to pair it with their favoured brand or to try out several brands to discover which suits them best. When paired up with a quality shaving brush and soap, this product will deliver a smooth and comfortable shave every time. The blades can be recycled after use, making this a popular choice for those looking to cut down on plastic waste.

Customer Reviews

Highly recommended
Amazing razor. I've been using a Wilkinson plastic razor for years now and it did a decent job but this Parker is on another level. The weight allows you to put almost no pressure when shaving. Although it is an open comb razor I did not find it as aggressive as people warned. It gave me an even close shave (closer than I've had with the Wilkinson). Highly recommend.

Very good razor
Fantastic razor I was using a cheap plastic DE razor before and suffered many cuts but the 24c weight does all the work for you and the grip is fantastic

Everything I'd hoped for, and excellent value
I've been wet shaving with a cheap DE razor for the last 5 years, so it was time for an upgrade. This Parker was everything I'd hoped for. The sure grip of the handle inspires confidence, and the shave is balanced (not aggressive and not too light). I've needed to learn to adjust the angle of the head differently to the razor I had before, but it's been worth it. The razor is heavy, so no extra pressure is needed while shaving. The blade is gripped along its full width in the head, so there's no risk of chatter. Recommended.
