Kent are renowned for their outstanding reputation and remarkable title as the world's oldest hairbrush manufacturer. The Kent Cherry Wood Hair Brush (Black Bristles) is a specialist brush, ideal for grooming and maintaining all hair types.
This brush is part of Kent’s ‘Ladies Finest’ range, made from the finest timbers and carefully sourced natural bristle. The range is designed to suit traditional brushing or for use when blow-drying, making it a popular choice for both personal and professional use alike.
Kent believe that brushing with natural bristle is the kindest and most beneficial way to take care of your hair. Natural bristle stimulates the scalp and the red blood cells situated there, naturally encouraging hair growth.
This brush uses natural boar bristle, which will never damage human hair as they are both made of the same protein. Good quality boar bristles have a natural stiffness, allowing them to brush thoroughly yet ‘give’ as they are drawn through the hair.
By brushing with bristle, the natural oils (sebum) that are produced in your scalp are released and distributed along the hair shaft, keeping hair healthy, shiny, and glossy, thus preventing dull-looking hair and split ends.
All the bristles found in Kent products are hand trimmed in the Kent factory. They are deliberately trimmed to create an uneven surface to the brush, enabling the bristles to penetrate hair perfectly, reaching all the way down to the scalp.
The cherry wood finish on this brush makes it a particularly strong and sturdy brush, designed to withstand regular use. Once sanded and stained, cherry wood has a beautifully smooth finish with a satiny smooth texture. No two brushes will ever be the same, making this a product that is truly unique to the owner.
This brush works particularly well on medium to thick hair of all lengths. This product is also available with white bristles (Kent Cherry Wood Hairbrush White Bristles).
Kent are extremely proud of their British manufacturing heritage and only produce world class products – without compromise.
- The perfect brush - absolutely.
A wonderful brush. Originally bought one in Oxford Street Store when living in London. Then moved out to Kent because of the pollution and, with lock down, could not get back to Oxford Street. I was so pleased to find my most-perfect brush on the Internet. I would not use any other brush, it has travelled over much of the world (when an air hostess) and since retiring it has dealt with hair from Sweden's Ice Hotel, to China and Uzbekistan to Las Vegas and Soith Africa!
