The Feather WS-D2S Wood Handle Stainless Steel DE Razor & Stand offers a unique shaving experience like no other. This special 'Tokusen' edition represents the finest of the Japanese manufacturer's products.
All the metal parts of this razor are made from the finest stainless steel. This material is resistant to rust and dirt, and is incredibly strong. The handle and stand are made from resin-impregnated wood laminate which is created by slowly soaking natural wood in resin. This maintains the natural texture of wood while also offering excellent water resistance and preventing deformation or warping.
The gently contoured handle and knurled detailing offer an enhanced and firm grip. The top of the razor head is branded with the Feather logo and 'wood handle stainless steel double edge razor'. The matching stand is crafted from the same hardwood used in the handle and the same high grade of stainless steel providing a stunning contrast and ideal home for the razor. The stand also features 'Feather Japan' branding.
The razor measures approximately 104mm in length, has a handle width of 11mm, and a total weight of 70g.
The Feather WS-D2S Wood Handle Stainless Steel DE Razor & Stand comes presented in a beautiful hand-lacquered box. Lacquer is a painting material used in Japan since ancient times and enhances the unique Japanese aesthetic of the razor. Multiple layers of lacquer are applied to create a fantastic luster and rich colour, with a unique pattern on each package. The box is then sheathed in a Feather branded protective cardboard wrap.
The package also include five free Feather Hi-Stainless double edge razor blades. These blades are the souls of the Feather razors. They are produced in Seki, a city traditionally known for manufacturing Japanese swords. These double-edged razor blades, with a thickness of just 0.1 millimeter, embody the pride of Japanese craftsmanship and offer fine quality that appeals to shaving fans in Japan and across the world. The 'Feather' mark engraved on the blade is a testament of trust.
Discard your used blades in the Feather Blade Safe Disposal Tin.

- A mighty price for an unbalanced device in my opinion.
Very expensive and although it is very finely made I found it rather top heavy. The wooden handle causes a weight transfer to the head which I found too much especially with soapy hands.
