Customer Reviews

Super build quality but a little heavy.

This razor is a really quality item with a superb finish. However I found it a bit heavy and it can be a bit slippery as it is a smooth finish. Take it slow and careful and it gives a good close shave. Looks great in the bathroom cabinet.

High end quality at an affordable price
A wonderful, weighty razor that not only looks fantastic but also performs. Fitted with Edwin Jagger's famous 'head', she shave is both safe and comfortable, gliding easily over your face, neck, and in my case, head! The finish is sublime, as you would expect from a British-made product coming out of Sheffield, the home of blade and steel making. The angle of the razor blade, when fitted, is just right, and you don't need to apply much more pressure than the weight of the razor against your skin to achieve the closest of cuts.

A word of caution, however, when switching to a different razor after using the EJ. You will be used to cutting at your leisure, perhaps quickly and with less attention than is needed with more aggressive razors, so, to avoid cutting yourself, proceed with caution, as though you were driving a new different car for a little while.

This really is a great razor, which I cannot recommend enough.
