Edwin Jagger is Europe's foremost manufacturer of luxury handmade shaving equipment. Edwin Jagger products are crafted and hand assembled in Sheffield England, a city known for its rich industrial history. The Edwin Jagger Blue DE Safety Razor (Long) is a high-quality closed comb double edge safety razor, featuring a long handle.

This double edge safety razor is fitted with the classic Edwin Jagger DE Head, which has been popular amongst the wet shaving community for many years. The closed comb head is expertly engineered and finished with a high-quality chrome plate. It has an excellent reputation for the expert level of shaving it achieves.

The classic Edwin Jagger closed comb razor head is praised for being an excellent choice for those trying traditional shaving for the first time, whilst remaining a firm favourite of those who are more experienced shavers.

When used with any standard DE razor blade and quality shaving cream or soap, this razor will produce a close and accurate shave often compared to that of a straight razor.

The handle is finished with an attractive sky blue coating, giving it an aesthetically pleasing appearance

The handle length of the razor is approximately 93mm, with the overall length of the razor measuring approximately 101mm. The longer handle length allows for enhanced control when the razor is used to shave harder to reach areas, such as when it is being used to shave legs.

This product includes one free Feather Hi-Stainless DE Safety Razor Blade to get you started. Feather Blades are the preferred pairing recommended by Edwin Jagger as the sharpness of the blade paired with the head offers a comfortable, clean shave.

The blades can be recycled after use, making this product a popular choice for those looking for a waste free method of shaving

All Edwin Jagger products are finished off with a thorough quality check and packed securely in attractive Edwin Jagger packaging, allowing for safe and secure delivery.

Green and easy
I wish I had gone over to these years ago. Not only is it waste free and in the long run cheaper - razor blades are cheap - but it's really smooth and easy. I'm hoping the razor will last years.

Great razor for women.
Perfect razor for the ladies. Longer handle makes getting at the back of the knees a breeze and the balance is great. Closed comb head gives smooth and comfortable shave with little irritation and no nicks - even with a Feather blade!

No more stressing with razor heads and plastic waste!
I'm so pleased with my new razor and I love the cute colour option.

Feels comfortably hefty and well made in my hand, like it'll last me for decades. Means I won't be producing any more plastic waste! After so much frustration with razors, getting the right heads and finding how quickly they blunt, I'm thrilled to finally have a standardised option that won't stress me out. I also got the blade box so I'll be able to recycle my blades easily.

Gave a great, close shave and I'm thrilled with the results.

Fantastic razor!
I had been looking at various safety razors for a while and am so glad that I finally made the decision to get one! It is a good weight and gives really close shave and smooth shave. It is so much better than any disposable razor that I have used and I am reducing plastic waste too!

Fantastic razor, great for going plastic free and saving money!!!
I was originally intimidated by trying a safety razor, but wanted to swap to reduce my plastic waste and save money on razor blades. I was pleasantly surprised and wouldn’t ever go back! Such a close, razor Ben free shave and great quality. I won’t ever go back!

I can’t believe this razor has only come into my life now. It’s so easy to use, I haven’t cut myself once. It has a good weight to it, helping it glide along without catching, giving you a closer smoother shave than any disposable razor I’ve used. Replacing the blade is so simple too, although there were no instructions in the package on how to do this which I found surprising as a first time user (Google was my friend). Main thing that makes this razor brilliant though is it’s zero plastic! A+++

Ditch the overpriced plastic & buy one
Was a bit nervous to use this for the first time, but in my bid to go plastic-free I had to give it a try. It's weighted perfectly and shaves smoothly - I don't have any of the irritation like I used to (a male friend also said his facial excema cleared up when switching to one).
I did cut myself on the first go - but no more than any other razor. This was because I dragged the razor sideways on the back of my leg, so just go careful with the harder to reach areas.
I'm currently using with a shave bar to reduce plastic use, but it sluices well so any shaving soap would work I imagine.
Still on first blade so not sure how long they last - I guess it also depends on how often you shave - but I'm impressed so far and wouldn't go back to disposable/ refill razors.
