- Ditch the overpriced plastic & buy one
Was a bit nervous to use this for the first time, but in my bid to go plastic-free I had to give it a try. It's weighted perfectly and shaves smoothly - I don't have any of the irritation like I used to (a male friend also said his facial excema cleared up when switching to one).
I did cut myself on the first go - but no more than any other razor. This was because I dragged the razor sideways on the back of my leg, so just go careful with the harder to reach areas.
I'm currently using with a shave bar to reduce plastic use, but it sluices well so any shaving soap would work I imagine.
Still on first blade so not sure how long they last - I guess it also depends on how often you shave - but I'm impressed so far and wouldn't go back to disposable/ refill razors.
