Details

Edwin Jagger is Europe's foremost manufacturer of luxury handmade shaving equipment. Edwin Jagger products are crafted and hand assembled in Sheffield England, a city known for its rich industrial history. The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Imitation Ebony Shaving Brush (Silver Tip) is a top-quality hand-filled shaving brush, part of the Edwin Jagger Premium Collection.

The brush is crafted using 100% silver tip badger hair. The finely graded and sorted natural silver tip badger hair is the softest, rarest, and most expensive badger hair. The pure colouring of this hair is enhanced by careful hand grading and sorting and shaping. The long hair is ultra-soft, flexible, and will provide years of luxurious shaving and the richest, creamiest lather.

The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth range is part of Edwin Jagger’s Premium Collection. The appearance is traditional, classic, and flawless. Matching razors are available in DE Safety Razor, Mach3, and Fusion.

Ensure the brush is cleaned thoroughly between use to prolong the lifespan of the product. After shaving, rinse the brush in hot water, flick away any excess, and hang the brush on a stand with the hair pointing down. If you do not have a stand, leave the brush pointing up rather than horizontal so that air can get to all the hairs and dry the brush naturally. This brush will fit the Edwin Jagger small range of shaving brush stands.

Avoid storing a wet brush for long periods. If your brush has a build-up of soap, soak it in a solution of borax or borax substitute. When correct care is taken a quality shaving brush should last for years to come and can even become an heirloom to pass down to the next generation.

The Edwin Jagger logo is clearly branded on the brush as a mark of authenticity, a finish that has come to be associated with pure class within the traditional shaving industry.

All Edwin Jagger products are finished off with a standard quality check and packed up securely in Edwin Jagger packaging, allowing for safe and secure delivery.

Absolutely content
After a month of use, this brush continues to impress. Very well made, I have not lost more than one or two hairs out of this new brush. It makes an excellent lather in a bowl or as a direct face lather. It looks excellent on my black stand with the Black Chrome 3D Diamond Safety Razor.

fantastic brush and service
I already own the Chatsworth set and wanted to treat myself to an upgrade to the silver tip version of the brush. I was not disappointed - the super soft hairs hold the water so well and allow me to work up a terrific lather.

I also messaged the English Shaving Company and asked if it was possible to send me a brush with the branding printed upside down so it would display correctly in my shaving stand (fussy I know) - much to my delight they obliged and at no extra cost.
