We ship orders Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Depending on the order value shipping is either charged at less than cost to us or FREE (UK only).

Shipping Rates & Times: UK

Standard Delivery. We currently offer Free Standard Delivery on all orders over £15.00. A postal charge of £2.50 is added to orders under the value of £15.00. The standard delivery method for UK parcels is Royal Mail 48, which usually takes 2-3 business days. Delivery times are from the point of dispatch.

Express Delivery. If you wish you can select Express Delivery at the checkout. The charge for Express Delivery is £2.99. We currently offer Free Express Delivery on all orders over £30.00. The express delivery method for UK parcels is Royal Mail 24, and usually takes 1-2 business days. Delivery times are from the point of dispatch.

Special Delivery. This next day delivery service is available on orders placed before 2.00pm Monday – Friday. Special Delivery guarantees delivery before 1.00pm the following day; a signature is required at the time of delivery.  If the parcel cannot be signed for/delivered it will be held at the nearest postal sorting office for collection. The cost of Special Delivery service is £7.50.

Additional Information. Any Special Delivery order placed after 2.00pm on Friday, or at any time on Saturday or Sunday, will be shipped the following Monday to be delivered the following Tuesday. Special Delivery orders placed on a Public/Bank Holiday will be shipped the next working day.

We will always try our best to ship any Special Delivery order on the same day, even if placed after 2.00pm. However, please be aware the likelihood is that it will not be dispatched until the next working day.

The English Shaving Company reserves the right to ship heavy parcels to UK destinations by courier if necessary. Parcels sent by courier will not incur any extra charge.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been shipped.  Please note, delivery times are only a best estimate and The English Shaving Company cannot take responsibility for any delays caused by customs or local postal delivery services.

Shipping Rates & Times: International


Royal Mail International Standard Delivery. This is our standard delivery method for all international orders.  No tracking facility is included with this method.

Royal Mail International Signed Delivery. This option is available for all international orders. The cost for this service is based on the weight of your shipment, and is displayed when you have put your items in your basket and proceed to the secure checkout to pay.

Additional Information. The International Signed Delivery service does not guarantee faster delivery, but does provide a tracking facility so you can follow the progress of your shipment.

If your parcel does not arrive within the expected delivery time, please wait until the maximum period has expired before contacting us. After the maximum period has elapsed, we will investigate the issue on your behalf and propose a suitable solution.

Restricted Products

Due to regulations enforced by our shipping provider, we are not permitted to send any liquid Aftershaves, Colognes, EDTs or any other liquid product containing alcohol to any country outside the UK. This restriction is due to guidelines within the postal system that impose a ban on sending all such items containing alcohol by air.

All products restricted in this manner are clearly labelled as such on this website. Customers attempting to have any such products shipped outside of the UK will be prevented from doing so during the checkout process.

Delays & Out of Stock Items

While we make every effort to have accurate stock numbers in our system, occasionally an item may go out of stock. If we are unable to obtain more stock of that item within a day or two of your order, we will always contact you to inform you via the email address or telephone number you provided about the probable delivery delay period. Alternatively, we may offer you an alternative item. If you cannot accept the delay or the alternative we offer, we will issue a full refund.
