The Merkur 23 INOX Stainless Steel Long Handle DE Safety Razor is a traditionally styled stainless steel double edge razor, based on the classic Merkur 23 design, originally developed in the 1920s.
Featuring a long, lightweight handle with an attractive diamond-shaped cross knurl pattern, this razor provides a comfortable and secure grip, even with damp or soapy hands. Its three-piece construction allows the head to be easily unscrewed, with the blade securely held between the top and base plates. At 74g (2.6oz), it is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, making it particularly well-suited to those new to traditional wet shaving. The closed comb head offers a smooth, gentle shave and makes this an excellent all-round choice for both beard and body shaving.
The handle is crafted from stainless steel, while the razor head, including the top cap and comb, is made from high-quality 316L stainless steel with a satin finish. This durable construction offers excellent corrosion resistance and makes the 23 INOX a particularly enduring addition to any shaving collection.
All DE razor blades are a standardised size and shape and therefore any DE blades you purchase will be compatible with this razor.
