Details

The Natural Sea Sponge Company are at the forefront of ethical sourcing and manufacture of grooming products. The Natural Sea Sponge Company Pumice Stone is a high-quality, hard wearing grooming accessory.

Pumice stones are naturally occurring volcanic rocks that have been solidified by lava. They occur when hot lava cools particularly quickly, trapping gas bubbles in the hardening material. This results in a porous and abrasive stone that is ideal for eliminating hard skin.

The mining of pumice is environmentally friendly due to the fact the igneous rock can be found on the surface of the earth in loose aggregate form. This means it does not require the type of machinery or unethical practices that the mining of other materials may use.

This product is a tough pumice that will not lose its shape or effectiveness over time. For an alternative method of removing hard skin, try the Natural Sea Sponge Company Olive Wood Nail Brush.

The texture can effectively smooth away hard, dry, and dead skin and remove bothersome calluses. When used continuously over a period of time, you will start to achieve lost-lasting, noticeable results.

For best performance, use whilst washing in the bath or shower with hot water. This is when skin is soft and supple and easier to remove. Rub the stone gently in a circular motion over the area you wish to exfoliate. Rinse and repeat until satisfied.

Some people also use pumice stones to remove hair in a similar manner to shaving, or for cleaning tough surfaces.

Rinse the stone after use to keep the surface clean and effective. Use the string attached to hang it in a dry place where it won’t run the risk of becoming damp.

After some time, you may find that the pores of the stone become blocked after use. Scrubbing it with soap should clean it efficiently, allowing it to continue achieving optimum results. If you use the stone frequently, it may need sterilising in boiling water every couple of weeks to kill any potential bacteria.

Customer Reviews

Great find at long last!!! NATURAL is always best!! ❤️
Even though it is STILL EARLY DAYS for me to tell if this type of volcanic rock is good for my skin condition, (desquamation/peeling of skin, only happens in the bath no other time ?!). I do think this type of pumice is 'just right' regarding size and that it's completely all NATURAL ROCK which I consider before I purchased the most IMPORTANT thing as FAKE rocks destroy my skin and irritate the dermis too. Therefore this product overall as a 'god send' really as I've been sea hing for such a NATURAL PUMICE FIR AGES!! So THANK YOU!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
