The twentieth century was only three years old when Virgilio Valobra founded his factory in Genoa, in Northwest Italy.
He wanted to preserve the technique of the soap masters of the eighteenth century that had developed along the coast from Portofino to Marseille, continuing their tradition of creating fine soaps produced with craftsmanship and pure ingredients.
Since 1903, the company has been producing soaps of exceptional quality. Valobra's soap recipes have been continuously improved over time, resulting in exceptional products that embody a long-standing tradition and craftsmanship.
