- A great company to buy from

Just what I was looking to buy. I saw this brush in a small pharmacy shop while traveling thru England and regretted not purchasing. I’m so happy I remembered the brand when I returned home. My order was rapidly filled and shipped to my home in Washington, and I love the brush.

I have to give this brush (BLK8) a 5/5. I'm in Canada and the price with exchange was about 1/2 the cost of what it is here. It took 4 weeks to arrive by regular post, however with the Covid slow down that was expected. The brush appears of fine quality and hefty. Out of the box, the plume is similar to my 5 year old Parker Silver tip. I expect many good years and shave with this Kent brush.

I just HAD to try this classic brush for myself and price/delivery from TESC were both excellent as I've come to expect.
The Kent BLK8 quality of both the handle and knot are excellent, and the brush was easily conditioned, descented and ready for use in short order.
Kent brushes are known to have relatively soft backbone - which I was seeking as a contrast to my other, mostly two-band badger, brushes - so for me that is a feature not a bug. IMO the BLK8 is quite flexible but not "floppy". The knot holds water and warmth well and I have been able to lather effectively with both soaps and creams.
Kent has a reputation for extremely soft to the touch "silvertip" hair ends. However my expereince with both this BLK8 and a prior BLK4 purchase is the Kent tips are not quite as soft as the "super badger" grade hair on another English maker's knots (and that make offers a presumably "silvertip" grade as well).
Overall I'm satisfied with my Kent brushes and intend to use them often.
