Details

Edwin Jagger is Europe's foremost manufacturer of luxury handmade shaving equipment. Edwin Jagger products are crafted and hand assembled in Sheffield England, a city known for its rich industrial history. The Edwin Jagger Black & Chrome Shaving Brush (Pure Badger) is a high-quality hand-filled shaving brush.

  • Total height - 105mm
  • Knot diameter - 21mm (Medium)
  • Loft - 51mm
  • Handle height - 54mm
  • Weight: 105g

The brush is crafted using 100% best badger hair. Pure badger hair is considered to be a good quality bundle that is slightly coarser than other grades of badger and therefore more suited to those with thick hair. The lather created is far superior to that resulting from the use of a bristle brush.

The brush is a smart, contemporary design, featuring a black body with a chrome plated collar and end cap. This brush is a good match for the Edwin Jagger DE86 Black DE Safety Razor (Long).

Ensure the brush is cleaned thoroughly between use to prolong the lifespan of the product. After shaving, rinse the brush in hot water, flick away any excess, and hang the brush on a stand with the hair pointing down. If you do not have a stand, leave the brush pointing up rather than horizontal so that air can get to all the hairs and dry the brush naturally. This brush will fit the Edwin Jagger small range of acrylic drip stands.

Avoid storing a wet brush for long periods. If your brush has a build-up of soap, soak it in a solution of borax or borax substitute. When correct care is taken a quality shaving brush should last for years to come and can even become an heirloom to pass down to the next generation.

‘Edwin Jagger’ is clearly engraved around the side of the handle as a mark of authenticity, a finish that has come to be associated with pure class within the traditional shaving industry.

All Edwin Jagger products are finished off with a standard quality check and packed up securely in Edwin Jagger packaging, allowing for safe and secure delivery.
